Snap & Save (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) helps users compare product prices by recognizing products from photos, reading visible price text, and searching for comparable prices in the user’s selected home country.



Information We Collect



Snap & Save does not require users to create an account.



The App may process the following information:



• Photos you take or select in the App

• Text recognized from photos, such as product names, brands, models, and prices

• Search queries created from recognized or manually entered product information

• Selected home country and travel country

• Basic technical data needed to process requests through our backend service



How We Use Information



We use this information to:



• Recognize products, brands, models, and prices

• Compare prices between countries

• Search for relevant shopping results

• Display estimated savings or price differences

• Improve app functionality and reliability



Camera and Photo Access



Snap & Save uses camera and photo library access only when you choose to take or select a product photo. Photos are used to identify products and read visible price information.



Third-Party Services



Snap & Save sends product photos and search information to our backend service hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Our backend may send this information to SerpApi to perform product recognition and shopping search.

• SerpApi: product recognition and shopping search results



We do not sell your personal information.



Data Storage



Snap & Save does not create user accounts and does not intentionally store your photos permanently in the App.



Photos and search data may be processed temporarily by our backend and third-party providers to provide recognition and search results.



API Keys



The App does not store the SerpApi key on the user’s device. The key is stored securely as a backend environment secret.



Children’s Privacy



Snap & Save is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.



Your Choices



You can:



• Deny camera or photo library access

• Manually enter product and price information

• Stop using photo recognition features at any time

• Delete the App from your device
